Finally met the indomitable spirit called Vikas Khanna at the launch of the book "Buried Seeds" chronicling the heart rending journey of Vikas from a young boy in Amritsar to the world renowned Michelin starred chef that he is today, written by his friend Karan Bellani.
I kept missing meeting Vikas since 2011 at various events where I couldn't make it and during a Master Chef event where he couldn't come at the last minute.
Chef Vikas is as amiable and humble in person as he appears on screen and touches one and all with his sincerity, wit, humour and down to earth nature.
